Explore the Magnificance of Portugal
From Lisbon to Porto to the Azores Islands

This full itinerary will give you a taste of the beauty and variety that Portugal has to offer.  This unique tour is offered in 3 different experiences.  Join us for one portion or all three.

The tour of Portugal begins with three nights in the historic capital of Lisbon.  Magnificently sited on a series of hills running down to the grand Tagus River, Lisbon is one of the world's most scenic cities. Beautiful unexpected views are found at every turn down its colorful, picturesque streets, and especially from strategically-placed viewpoints or terraces at the top of each hill.   During your stay you'll leave the city to visit Sintra and the majestic Pena Palace.

The next portion of the tour will start in Porto.  From their you'll take a 7 night all inclusive AmaWaterways cruise along the gorgeous Douro River into the valley of the famous Portuguese Wine.  Visit the Castles, hike the local hill tops, taste the local cuisine, sip the wines, all while taking in the stunning view of the Douro River Valley.

The final part of your Portuguese journey will be a relaxing stop on the Azores Island of Terceira.  Quite literally in the middle of the Atlantic and on your way back home to the US, your time here will be spent relaxing at the spa, yoga if desired, healthy food, exploring a volcano, a visit to the UNESCO city of Angra Do Heroismo and more time to relax.  This portion is meant to be your vacation from your vacation so you'll go home refreshed and ready to plan your next adventure.
